Dear David (Denise), Roger (Karen), Mary (Jonathan), Rose (Kenneth),
I am so sorry to read of the passing of Aunt Pauline. Since my Mom(Bev) passed I don't get the family information and read this in the PennySaver. I have nothing but fond memories of your Mom, Aunt Pauline. My Grandma spent so much time with your Mom in her later years. She often told me of their adventures in Batavia with Elsie. They would shop and go for lunch, sometimes to the Chinese Restaurant and sometimes they would skip getting a "real" lunch and get just ice cream sundaes for lunch. I also remember seeing Aunt Pauline at Bontrager's auction and my Grama Kitty going to Batavia to help your Mom prepare for garage sales. Your Mom also almost always brought Grama some kind of gift when they shopped or visited, a lot of the gifts were angels or angel pins. I will remember Aunt Pauline and the joyous times she shared with my Grandma, her sister, Kitty. Take care.

Pauline was our neighbor for 25 years. We loved her and she loved us. She always brought over goodies to us for Christmas of homemade cookies & fudge, and gifts for our family, including our grandson Ryan. She made the BEST fudge, it did not last long!!! She would do anything for us and we would do anything for her. She taught us how to LOVE your neighbor as yourself. She spent many happy days traveling to restaurants shops, etc, with her loving sister-in-law Elsie who also became a friend of ours as well over the years. They were inseparable during those years. When she had to give up her home we kept in touch with her and she kept in touch with us. She had a wonderful family who were very attentive to her & kept her busy on outings to Holiday celebrations etc. They had a beautiful; 90th Birthday celebration for her and we were so honored and thankful to be included. God Bless you Pauline, a life well lived; Rest in Peace Sweet Neighbor. Love Cal & Kathy Klippel

Pauline shared the room at Village Green with my mother Leora Reinhart. In fact, Pauline very charitably offered that space to Mom when Mom's former roommate was not a good match. It was a blessing for us to feel that a haven was available. So the two ladies got along well, and made the most of the situation, together. Pauline always had a smile for me, and waved her arm to wave when I would pop by. We wish now that her soul will find rest.
