I was so very sorry to hear about Leon's passing. I met him when I started in the Presbyterian church choir. He was a great bass. so glad I decided to join that church and get to know him and Lois better. Great memories of them in the very back pew of the church, both of them there when his hearing got in the way of his singing, that was a sad time, as we missed him in the choir, You are in our thoughts and prayers, May god give you peace and comfort.

To the family of Leon and Lois, we would like to express our condolences to you. The world was so bright and welcoming when Leon and Lois took their walk to the post office. They ALWAYS managed to have a few minutes to chat, always asking how we and our kids were doing...truly the friendliest people in Elba. We miss the example they had set for "neighborliness." It has been our sweetest pleasure to have known them! We think of them often and will miss their sunny disposition.
