A letter to Glenna
Glenna I hope you know that you are one of my most favorite people in the world. When I think of you, it makes me smile because if all the fun we’ve had over the years. I was lucky enough to live close to you for a few years. Helping you move all over central Pa makes me laugh ... The Wendy’s mayo debacle, the red stain in the middle of the chicken coop (blood probably)or the scary voice behind us explaining the huge antenna was to contact the mothership. There were hungover
Inventories and manager parties (I mean meetings) Morning coffee with caffeine and the fudge (oh the fudge)
You introduced my family to our favorite pet Wigwag or Mr Cat. You laughed at our Pa snow blizzard calling them flurries.
The Glennaisms Baby car, two or tree, Omaha and many more
I can see sitting on the floor with a 10 year old Ashley and two of us laughing about how you planned to get off the floor. I’ve had many friends in my life but few instant friends that lasted as long as we have. Your pride in Mike and your grand daughters and the stories about them. Even now I am laughing and crying while writing this but I feel blessed to have had me in my life.
I love you Miss Glenna
Now you are pain free and fly high in heaven with all your dead relatives.
Love Betsy and Ashley
