Obituary of Richards H. Spink

Batavia - Richards H. Spink, 84, of Batavia, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at Premier Genesee Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Batavia.

Richards was born July 27, 1934, in Batavia, a son of the late William and Clara (Hodge) Spink.

Richards will be remembered as a wonderful father and grandfather.  He was a member of Northgate Free Methodist Church and was a taxi driver for Red's Taxi in Batavia.

Survivors include his children, Richard (Deborah) Spink of Chandler, AZ, Betty (late Gerald) Hackett of Batavia and Bonnie (Bob) Baciulis of Hamlin; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.   

Richards was predeceased by his wife, Lois J. Spink and his brother, Ronald Spink.

There will be no prior calling hours.  Richards's funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 29, at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia.  He will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia.

Memorial contributions in Richards's memory may be made to Northgate Free Methodist Church, 8160 Bank Street Road, Batavia, NY 14020.
