I want to express my condolences to Leaburn's family and friends. "Ma" was a strong woman who persevered through much in her life. She had a quick wit and cared for her family. What I will recall most about Lea was her connection to Pa. They acted a team, were often inseparable, and took care of each other. Our daughter Maeve will have many fond memories of her Grandma and the time they spent together. Rest in peace Lea.
Love, Shannon, Shawn and Maeve Wilcox

Lea was a wonderful person. When we both lived in Rochester, she babysat my son so I could go to work; she cut my hair; she brewed us potsful of coffee for our late night chats. When she moved to Batavia and we moved to Pavilion, we didn't get together very often but always enjoyed the times that we visited. The last time I saw her was when she was recuperating in the nursing home. We both promised to get together soon when she got out but that never did materialize. I'll always be sorry about that.
Again, a wonderful person.
