Obituary of Mary Lou Torcello

Batavia - Mary Lou Torcello, 91, of Batavia, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at United Memorial Medical Center.

She was born August 27, 1927 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Cosmo Constantino and Carrie Pulvino Constantino.

Mary is survived by her lifelong friend, Steve Vernaccini; her sister, Elizabeth Constantino; her brother, Cosmo (Lucy) Constantino; her daughters, Mary Ann Reigle, Linda Say and Joan (Ricky) Hale; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Torcello and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends all of whom she loved dearly.

She is predeceased by her son, John Torcello; sons-in-law, Mike Reigle and Woody Say; and her siblings, Vincent, Anthony, Joseph, Salvatore, Charles, Rose and Elaine.

Friends may call on Monday from 3-7 p.m. at the H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 East Main Street, Batavia. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 303 East Main Street, Batavia. She will be laid to rest in East Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
