Obituary of Faith Ellen Francis

St. Louis, Missouri - Dr. Faith Ellen Francis was fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Dr. Francis was born in Batavia, the daughter of the late Charles Lee Francis and Julia Maloney Francis.

Dr. Francis graduated with a BA in Chemistry from D'Youville College and a PhD in Biochemistry from St. Louis University. She was a faculty member at St. Louis University of Medicine for 38 years.

She is survived by cousins.

There are no prior visiting hours. Her Memorial Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, January 23^rd, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 9740 Sappington Road, St. Louis. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 27^th, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Father Bernard T. Kelly Mausoleum at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 531 Ellicott Street, Batavia.  In lieu of flowers, Mass intentions are preferred.  She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Batavia.
